April 11, 2026 (Denver, CO): On Saturday, April 11th, Felt Billiards in Englewood, Colorado hosted another incredible junior pool clinic, welcoming over 25 young players and their families for a dynamic day of fun, coaching and connection. Led by Felt’s house pro, Samm Diep, this annual community event brought together participants ages 6 to 18, traveling from as far as Colorado Springs, Cheyenne, Wyoming and even Atlanta, Georgia. This special day was created to give young players who have never been exposed to pool an opportunity to receive formal instruction and to connect them with local junior league operators who can support their continued growth in the sport.
Young players rotated through seven learning stations, earning plastic eggs filled with tickets. At the end of the clinic, they traded their tickets for a wide range of donated prizes, valued from 1 to 250 tickets. Among the most popular items were baby cues signed by “The Black Widow,” Jeanette Lee, and Dynasphere cue balls signed by “Venom Trickshots,” Florian Kohler, both valued at 250 tickets.
If you are interested in donating prizes for next year’s Kidz Klinik, or if you would like guidance on hosting a similar event in your area, reach out to Samm. Her devotion to helping create more opportunities for young players everywhere is unparalleled.
This clinic would not have been possible without the support of Felt Billiards and its amazing staff, along with the incredible team of volunteers and supporters. A huge thank‑you to everyone who attended, managed stations, and helped spread the word:
