Once upon a time, there was a competitive tournament player named Samm Diep. She was coined “Cherry Bomb” for her fiery red hair and explosive break at the table. She trained alongside some of the top billiard instructors in the nation, practicing and competing up to 60 hours a week. Within two years, she won her first two national titles. She continued to challenge herself daily with a disciplined training regime of practice drills, cardio and strength training, as well as traveling to local, regional, and national events. Some call it tenacity, while she believed it as simply a passion for the thing that she loved the most.
