What types of lessons do you offer?
I offer both in-person and online lessons, available for all skill levels. You can book a private session, group class, or video coaching tailored to your goals.
Do you offer online lessons?
Yes! Online lessons are a great option if you’re outside Colorado or prefer to learn from home. I’ll create a private Google Drive folder where upon uploading a series of videos, we’ll connect via Zoom to review your videos, focusing on mechanics and strategy.
What’s included in an online lesson?
- A private Google Drive folder with your full lesson recording and screenshots.
- A complete video stroke analysis.
- Comprehensive, personalized notes and learning materials.
- A custom training program tailored to your personal goals.
- Follow-up correspondence.
Where are in-person lessons held?
Most in-person sessions take place at Felt Billiards in Englewood, CO. I also teach at select venues for events or workshops. Travel surcharges may apply.
Can I take ongoing lessons?
Yes—ongoing lessons are available for returning students when space and time allow. This is the Next-Level Coaching option. I do my best to accommodate continued growth, but availability can vary depending on the season and current commitments.
Do you teach kids and beginners?
Absolutely. I work with all ages and skill levels. I also run youth and senior classes through Denver Parks & Rec.
Can I book a lesson for someone else?
Yes! Lessons make great gifts. Just mention it when you contact me, or check out the gift certificate options here.
What equipment do I need for online lessons?
You’ll need:
- A stable internet connection
- A device with a camera (laptop, tablet, or phone)
- Space to shoot or a recording of you playing (to submit beforehand)
- A tablet, laptop or computer (preferred) to review the videos together during initial meeting
How long have you been teaching pool?
I’ve been teaching for over 20 years and hold PBIA & ACS Master Instructor certifications.
Are you certified to teach pool/billiards?
Yes! I’m a PBIA & ACS Master Instructor and was honored as the 2024 PBIA Jerry Briesath Instructor of the Year. I’ve also served as a Team USA coach and have trained hundreds of students across all levels.
Are you involved in any nonprofit or community work?
Yes—giving back is core to my mission. I regularly organize monthly giveaways, annual community events, and promote our sport and the small businesses within it.
What kinds of items are in your shop?
The shop features billiard equipment and accessories, including billiard-inspired items. We are also the official local dealer for Diamond tables and Predator products but can pretty much get anything you’re looking for.
Can I get a gift card?
Yes! Gift cards are available for lessons (in-person or online) and shop items. You could also contact me to purchase a gift certificate to purchase any other billiard products.
Do you ship outside the U.S.?
Primarily U.S. shipping, but international orders can be arranged. Please contact me for a custom quote.
Do you host private events or parties?
Yes! I love making appearances at corporate and private events, conducting clinics, team-building experiences, and challenge matches.
Can you teach at my venue or tournament?
I’m available to travel for special events, clinics, or exhibitions. Let’s chat about your ideas!
Do you work with schools or nonprofits?
Yes—When time permits, I do enjoy working with community groups, schools, and local organizations to grow the game through youth and senior outreach.
How do I book a lesson?
You can browse available lesson times and book directly through the online scheduling tool. If none of the times work for you, feel free to contact me directly, and I’ll do my best to find a time that fits your schedule. You can also join the waitlist and I’ll let you know if a spot opens up.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Same-day changes may be subject to a fee.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Preferred payment options are: Cash (for in-person), Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or Check.
How far in advance should I book?
My schedule fills up quickly, so it’s best to book as early as possible. I recommend checking the booking calendar and reserving your preferred time as soon as you can.
