Travel Information

Airport:

Fly into Denver (DEN)

DIA (Denver International Airport)

Lodging:

Unfortunately, the closest hotels to Felt are ~3 miles away. If you’re not planning to rent a car, I’m based in the Central Park area—about 20 minutes from the airport—and there are many lodging options nearby. For full-day lessons, I’m happy to scoop you up in the mornings on my way to Felt.

If you’re planning to rent a car, you might consider looking for a place in Downtown or Cherry Creek. Both areas offer a chance to enjoy the city while you’re here, and they’re not terribly far from Felt.

Near-ish Felt:

Downtown:

(These options are near Union Station, where you can take the D-line or O-line all the way to the Englewood Station, just four blocks from Felt)

Central Park / Airport:

Look for lodging in the green boxes if you prefer to carpool:

What to Bring:

  • Cues & Accessories – Jump/break cues, protective case, and anything else you’d like help using.
  • Layered Clothing – Colorado weather can be unpredictable.
  • Notetaking Supplies – A binder with handouts will be provided.
  • Camera & Tripod (Optional) – For personal recording.
  • Goals & Questions – Come ready to make the most of your time.

Traveling with Your Pool Cues:

First time flying with your pool cues? Be sure to check them as luggage—they’re not allowed in carry-on bags due to TSA regulations.

Some cues might fit diagonally in a hard-sided suitcase, but I don’t suggest this method. For better protection, pick up a duffel bag at least 35″ long and wrap your clothes around your cue case.

Pro Tip: If your bag doesn’t show up on the regular baggage carousel, check the oversized luggage area. Cue cases sometimes get routed there due to their size and shape.
