Never in my wildest dreams, when I taught my very first pool lesson 20 years ago, could I have imagined receiving such an incredible honor. A HUGE THANK YOU to every instructor who has guided me, to every student who has taken a lesson from me, to my loving husband and kids, and to everyone who has ever supported my endeavors. This one’s for my girls and all the girls out there finding their place in a male-dominated environment. No matter what you’re doing, strive to do it the best that you can.
) And to receive this award in the same room with so many that I admire and respect, along with Randy Goettlicher, whom I took my very first lesson with, and Dr-Dave Alciatore, who continues to be my mentor as I strive to be a better instructor with each lesson and presentation I give.
